Plug manufacturing is used in a variety of industries and applications where high-precision, complex geometries and durable moulds or forms are needed. It can be used to make tooling for composite lay-ups in the aerospace industry, create plugs or low volume moulds for body part panels in the automotive and RV industries, and hull and deck moulds for the marine and boat building industry.

Lavender Composites is equipped with one of the largest 5-axis CNC routers in Australia that is capable of manufacturing plugs up to a maximum size of 15 metres x 6 metres x 3 metres in a single piece.
